Dammit Liz Productions Internship Program

 

We have received all the applications for the first internship program. We will be letting applicants know if they have been selected by August 27th. (Hopefully sooner, but I’m at GenCon this week…)

 

Join the army and become a Darnit! Check back in November/December for information on the next internship!

 

Dammit Liz Productions is looking for hardworking and energetic interns with a passion for events and the geek-o-sphere. If you love volunteering for conventions and want to learn more and possibly work at this for a living, this could be the internship for you. Hours are flexible, with 80% of the work available for remote work. Some Skype meetings scheduled.

There are multiple events for interns to work on site. In most cases, interns will need to be responsible for their own travel.

What to do!

Learning experience for anyone interested in event coordination, marketing, live event production, fan and pop culture conventions, and the world of geeky events.

Assist with planning and logistics for upcoming events

Respond to emails and direct questions to appropriate parties

If available on site, assist with the implementation and organization of geek events

 

What to learn!

How to coordinate events

Working with talent

How to network in a geeky convention type industry

Find out about different needs in the industry, find your niche. Is it live events? Conventions? Party planning? Geeky bands on tour?

 

Dates

Now-Nov 15th

3 months

5-10hrs per week: Hours are flexible, we can work with your schedule.

Resume: List your work, volunteer and educational experience. Include any relevant shows or conventions you’ve attended.
